It turns out American-made cars are the hardest to kill

If you know Hamilton, you know we’ve got a thing for both staying power and patriotism. Not only does Hamilton make the most durable casters and wheels on the planet (we’ve got the industry’s best warranty to prove it). We’re also proud to be American made since 1907.

So we loved reading about this new study by automotive data and research company iSeeCars, which suggests that American-made cars, trucks and SUVs last longest. The study, which analyzed data on 13.5 million used vehicles built between 1980 and 2017, revealed that many American-made models have a solid chance of topping the 200,000-mile mark.

Among the list toppers were:

  • Cars

  • Toyota Avalon
  • Chevy Impala
  • Ford Taurus
  • Honda Accord
  • Toyota Camry
  • Trucks

  • Toyota Tacoma
  • Chevy Silverado 1500
  • Honda Ridgeline
  • Toyota Tundra
  • SUVs

  • Toyota Sequoia
  • Ford Expedition
  • Chevy Suburban
  • Toyota 4Runner (most likely to hit the 300,000-mile mark!)

Did someone say road trip?
