Just how well do you know Hamilton?

Thursday, Jun 27, 2019

When you’ve been in business for more than 100 years, people think they know you. And that’s okay. But it’s also never too late to reconnect with a trusted friend—and maybe even learn something new. Here are three common myths about Hamilton Caster.

Myth #1: Hamilton only does casters and wheels.

Not true. While casters and wheels are the heart of our business, we also manufacture heavy duty carts and trailers—a product line so substantial it has its own website. What’s more, Hamilton has been providing custom-engineered material handling solutions to the industrial market for more than 50 years—everything from Eleva-Trucks for distribution centers to 30-ton four-wheel steer trailers for the U.S. Department of Defense. If you haven’t already, take advantage of Hamilton’s engineering team, coupled with our extensive woodworking and steel fabrication capabilities. View our gallery of custom trucks and trailers now.

Myth #2: Hamilton is best suited for low-volume orders.

Not true at all. Are you in need of 500, 1,000, 5,000 casters or more? Bring it on. Hamilton continues to make substantial investments in capital equipment and facilities to reduce lead times and exceed our record-breaking sales and production last year. In other words, we’ve got the capability and capacity to handle large volume orders. Keep in mind, the prices published on our website reflect our MSRP based on small quantities only—and we welcome those orders. But we’re also well-positioned to offer competitive pricing on larger opportunities. Big or small, look to Hamilton.

Myth #3: Hamilton Caster serves only North America.

Hamilton Caster has served customers worldwide and on all but one continent (Antarctica), for decades. If you have material handling needs, contact us from anywhere around the world via phone, e-mail, chat, or text. We'll be happy to serve you!

Myth #4: Hamilton is owned by large private equity.

Hamilton is a fourth-generation family-owned and managed business. The Hamilton clan has been obsessed with casters and hard work since 1907. It’s given us the kind of stability we never take for granted. Day in, day out, we try to operate like a family should: always innovating, shoulder-to-shoulder, with a build-it-better attitude to keep forging the best products. So if it’s been a minute, get to know us better.
