S-PF-8NF Swivel w/ Poly-Tech® Wheel
The Combination Brake Series features an attractive and contemporary swivel rig in the 4", 5" and 6" sizes. The plastic housing/brake pedal are from a Nylon compound reinforced with ceramic and glass fibers. This is an extremely durable material and is used in automobile intake manifolds and even in some golf club driver heads. The 8" swivel model carries over from our former Plate Type Caster (Series PF). Both versions work on the same principle: pressing down on the brake lever locks both the swivel caster and the wheel. Caster and hardware have corrosion-resistant zinc-plated finish.

QUALITY FEATURES
Swivel Construction – 8" model: cold formed from 1/4" thick steel, case hardened for long life. 6" model and below: cold formed top plate from 3/16" thick steel. Legs formed from 1/8" thick steel.

Kingpin – 8" model: 3/4" diameter heat treated bolt with separate lock nut. 6" model and below: 7/8" diameter bolt with separate lock nut.

Main and Secondary Load Bearings – two full rows of steel balls rotate in separate heat treated raceways.

Axle – 1/2" diameter bolt with lock nut.

Lubrication Fittings – in swivel assembly and in hubs of roller bearing wheels, except as noted.
WHEEL CHOICES
Puncture-proof cushion rubber tire on propylene core.Injection molded polyolefin: water resistant & high impact strength.Hamilton’s classic liquid cast 95A polyurethane tread bonded to heavy duty iron center.90A polyurethane mechanically bonded to polypropylene core.Solid polyurethane, hardness: 75-80DSoft, non-marking gray rubber (65A) on polypropylene core.
