#R-8526-SU. Rigid Cush-N-Flex models are constructed of plate steel legs welded inside and outside to matching steel mounting plates.
| | Cush-N-Flex Casters feature the extra-soft (60 durometer), solid rubber Super-Flex wheels. They resemble pneumatics in appearance, but being puncture proof eliminate any risk of -flats.- The extra-thick rubber tires are permanently vulcanized to cast aluminum hubs fitted with straight roller bearings to withstand rigorous industrial service.
| You can choose either a caster having a precision thrust bearing with an integrally forged kingpin, or the more economical double ball race, rivet-kingpin model.
| Specify Series 8000 Casters for use over very rough surfaces like steel grating, door sills, etc., or to provide greater cushioning than is achievable with other wheel types.

Swivel Construction – (except #S-8008, #S-8010-SU, and #S-8012-SU)–cold forged steel mounting plate and horn base, double ball race, formed and welded legs, and 5/8" diameter king-pin (3/4" on 10" & 12" models). Choice of two popular mounting plate and height dimensions on 6" and 8" models.
Swivel Construction – Models #S-8008- SU, #S-8010-SU and #S-8012-SU –drop forged steel mounting plate and horn base, plate steel legs welded inside and outside, main load ball race with precision tapered thrust bearing around integrally forged kingpin. A premium design, suitable for power towing.
Axle – bolt and nut type: 1/2" diameter on all models, except #S/R-8012-SU, #S/R-8410-SU, and #S/R-8412-SU which are 3/4" dia.
Wheel Bearing – straight roller type: 3/4" with spanner bushing on all models except #S/R-8012-SU, #S/R-8410-SU, and #S/R-8412-SU (1" with spanner bushing on these). | |
