Depressing the foot pedal on one side forces the spring-loaded Neoprene brake shoe against the floor under compression. Stepping on the opposite pedal retracts the mechanism.
Hamilton Floor Locks are available in the four standard heights shown to match most popular caster heights. To match heights not show, an economical solution is to buy the next shorter lock and "shim up" the mounting plate. If quantity warrants, however, special height locks can be produced. Attractive bright zinc plated finish is provided on all standard locks.
