You might say we’re on a “black beauty” streak here at Hamilton. Last month, we gave you our black magic trailer. This month, we’re kicking off 2019 with a custom black caster we created for a global aerospace and defense solutions company. The casters needed to be mounted to large boxes as part of a rapidly deployable mobile tactical system for the defense department. To get the job done, we paired our HPI™-enabled Hamilton Extra Heavy-Duty Series Casters with our new ergonomic ZB brake—paired by our engineers in a dual-wheel configuration.
The new ergo ZB brake is designed to work in a tiny envelope yet provide excellent braking, while the casters feature dual Duralast XC wheels for extra capacity and easy rolling on smooth floors. Casters equipped with our very own HPI Swivel Technology have shown to swivel more easily under heavy loads and outlast conventional swivel raceways in 24/7 operations. It all adds up to one powerful package of strength, control and endurance. And, hey, we’re light on our feet, too.
No wonder the engineers requested a jet-black paint job to match the boxes so everything can be transported in “stealth” mode.
Maybe we should have added some throwing stars into the mix?
