In a year that stopped the world, we never stopped

Thursday, Dec 17, 2020

Oh, 2020.

In a year where so much challenged us all, we’re thankful to have pushed on and pushed through—grateful for our community and proud of our industry for staying strong.

At Hamilton, our people did an amazing job pulling together. We prioritized, organized and sanitized. Despite some delays, we kept our big corporate headquarters buildout moving and our new carts and trailers website grooving. Along the way, we featured monster casters and soft wheels and series that go faster. We offered Cliffs Notes on industrial trailer carts and discovered great reads in manufacturing. Through it all, we never lost sight of what’s important: lean manufacturing, American-made products and, of course, keeping our customers happy.

As always, we’re taking the time to look back on some of our favorite stories of the year below But most of all, we’re excited to look forward. We want you to know how much we appreciate your business. And how we’ll keep working tirelessly to keep innovating and improving for you.

A look back...

Check out our young blood

Our people are our power, and we can’t value them enough. That’s why, at the beginning of 2020, we took a moment to honor some of our newly-hired Inside Sales reps at the beginning of the year. We connected with them on everything from their favorite productivity app to what they believe to be the key to a great sale.

Hey, we’re moving!

Everyone at Hamilton is super excited to be moving into our new corporate headquarters in March 2021. So it’s pretty humbling to see how much closer we’ve gotten to the finish line since we first announced the $6.5 million-dollar plant expansion back in February—right before COVID hit.

All our post-lock-down fantasies revealed

Call it quant or tragic when we thought quarantine would finally be over back in May. Either way, it was fun to record video of our employees fantasizing about the first thing they wanted to do after the stay-at-home order was lifted. Who knew Caleb Jones from Inside sales could be such a ham?

You just gotta see this wheel suit

What a ride we took with Rollerman, the Frenchman who brought 90s rollerblades back in a big way. His full-body armor suit, festooned with 32 wheels across his person, is a feast of wheel-loving glory. If you missed his crazy video luging through the city the first time, don’t miss it twice.

Pets, and the Hamilton people who love them

Right about August, we were suffering from major COVID fatigue. So we did what any respectable heavy-duty industrial manufacturer would do: post furry photos of our beloved pets doing very Hamilton-like things.

New carts and trailers website comin’ atcha

At the beginning of November, we stole some thunder from Election Day coverage (feels like it was a year ago already, doesn’t it?) with the launch of our brand-new Hamilton Carts and Trailers website. With gorgeous new photos, more intuitive navigation and a powerful programming platform, our trucks virtually fly off the page onto your factory floor.

From all of us here at Hamilton, have a safe and joyful holiday, and may we all look back on 2021 with happiness in our hearts.
