Sometimes it’s fun to explore weird design just for the cool factor—because you can. In the first of a series of three hare-brained bike video inventions we’re covering this month from engineer and YouTuber extraordinaire Sergii Gordieiev—otherwise known as The Q—we bring you a fat tire bike reimagined with invisible wheels, simply by replacing the spokes with PVC glass.
It’s an incredibly streamlined ride—the final product looks like a giant pair of roving Harry Potter glasses. And thanks to The Q’s always engaging editing and music, we can’t wait to try this at home. Fair warning: watching the process may be more satisfying than the practicality of the actual finished product (added weight, etc.) but so what?
Let’s just call it hidden talent.
