Check out our latest campus facelift

At Hamilton, we certainly like to throw our brawn around. Biggest casters on the planet. Turbo-engineered for a lifetime. It’s macho stuff.

But we have a sensitive side, too. One that appreciate beauty and purposeful design. We’ve put a lot of thought and effort into our campus curb appeal lately, and we wanted to share some pics with you.

What a paint job You may we recall that we opened our new corporate headquarters two years ago. Well, you know when you do a partial home renovation—and then end up doing the whole house because you want everything to match? That’s kind of what happened when we built our shiny new building. It felt a tad disconnected from the rest of the buildings on our campus. So we updated all the old buildings to match the new, compliments of Sherwin Williams’ Peppercorn. The power of fresh paint is so transformative! We were going for a minimalist gravitas with this extremely versatile dark grey. What do you think?

Campus Cleanup Day Coordinating an aesthetic makeover was a great culture-building opportunity for our Hamilton family. After painting all our old buildings, the Hamilton Spirit Committee planned a timely “cleanup day” to focus on transforming the area outside our old building into a new outdoor break area for employees. We got our hands dirty power washing, weeding, and coordinating tree removal. Then we replaced the grass with a lower-maintenance landscape design using gravel and the same tall grasses that appear in front of our new building. We even replaced the sidewalk. In additional to cleaning all the exterior windows, we also repurposed and relocated signage from the old office entrance to the north side of the building.

The overall result? We not only feel prettier but more unified as a campus. And we’re getting noticed. Even the City of Hamilton’s Economic Development Director recently sent us a complimentary email to recognize our beautification efforts.

If you’re in the neighborhood, please stop by!
