Getting full just thinking about this Thanksgiving? Imagine a bird five times that size.
At 86 lbs., Tyson, the world’s heaviest turkey, could feed the entire Detroit Lions football team. Back in 1989, that colossal weigh-in was enough to earn a Guinness World Record.
What’s more impressive? No turkey has even come close to beating it since. Slap a few casters on it, and this Turkeytron would have wreaked havoc at the coop.
