It’s happening: Hamilton’s new next-generation headquarters

Thursday, Feb 27, 2020

It’s the dawn of a new day at Hamilton. We’re elevating our vision and expanding our firepower. Multiplying our capacity and streamlining our efficiencies. Aiming higher, pushing further and doubling down on our future to make sure our customers don’t miss a thing.

After years of planning, we’re thrilled to have broken ground this month on a major $6.5 million-dollar plant expansion right next door to our current facility. Our new 65,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility will expand our manufacturing and office space footprint and be the new home of our new corporate headquarters. Climate-controlled throughout, our new digs will feature tilt-up concrete walls and a world-class material handling system. We’re moving in fiber lasers, robotic welders, CNC Machines and a state-of-the-art powder paint system—all under one roof.

It’ll be like Christmas in October 2020, when we plan to open our new doors.

Since Hamilton is a lean organization, this move is a natural for us. As our VP of Marketing, Mark Lippert, puts it: “It will improve our production flow and dramatically increase the velocity of our value stream.”

And we’re not just investing in new equipment and technologies. We’re also investing in our community, too. By repurposing the land next door (we purchased the former site of the Hamilton Inn hotel), we’re doing our best to help revitalize the city of Hamilton’s east side. Police even say the expansion is driving down crime in the area.

As you can tell, we’re pretty excited about the move. At the end of the day, it comes down to doing more for customers, our people and our communities. Manufacturing never stops. Neither does our drive to deliver. In the coming months, we’ll keep sharing our move-in progress with you. Thank you sharing the journey with us.
