There’s nothing like that instant torque that blasts you back in your seat when you slam on the accelerator of an electric car. Well, responsible thrill-seekers, this might be your next sick ride.
A three-wheeled, electric two seater called Spiritus, is promising to be the world’s fastest electric three-wheeled car at top speeds of 130 mph, according to its Canadian electric carmaker, Daymak. With solar panels for charging, a regeneration system and Daymark’s very own wireless charger, the Spiritus comes in two models. The Ultimate, which goes from zero to 60 in just 1.8 seconds, has a range of just under 300 miles and will set you back a cool $149K. Less powerful but more affordable, the Deluxe model costs just under $20K with a 186-mile range, but no zippy acceleration.
Want in? Daymak is currently running a crowdfunding campaign for the car with the goal of reaching 50,000 pre-orders. To guarantee your Spiritus, it only takes a $100 deposit. But hurry, the campaign ends July 23, 2021. Production on Spiritus begins 2023.
We’re definitely available for a test ride.
