How do we know this? Because the Cincinnati Roller Girls recently paid a visit to Hamilton headquarters, and they’ve had us hooked ever since. We were so taken with their chutzpah that we even sponsored their talk at the city of Hamilton’s Fitton Center for the Creative Arts earlier this month, where they shared their passion for the sport and their deep bond as a team.
During the interactive session, the gals enlightened us about the intricacies of roller derby, a game of strategy where both teams must play offense and defense simultaneously while engaging in physical contact. It’s a thrilling mix of athleticism, teamwork, and yes, a touch of controlled chaos.
But the true highlight was when they brought their rolling fury to Hamilton, adding a thrilling twist to our work week.
