Roadmap to greatness: Hamilton’s vision for 2025

If 2024 was a road trip, it was one packed with ambitious goals, exciting turns, and milestones worth celebrating. Along the way, we planted seeds, tackled obstacles, and achieved meaningful progress—all of which set the stage for an exciting journey ahead.

As we head into 2025, we’re proud of the groundwork we laid. The goals were bold, and the scope was large, but the strides we made last year paved the way for big wins this year. Here’s a sneak peek at our strategic roadmap for 2025.

Objective 1: Build a lean, high-performing workforce

This year, we’re launching a lean training initiative for our office teams using Training Within Industry (TWI). This hands-on program will improve how we onboard and train new talent—particularly in sales and engineering—through more consistent and effective processes. We’ve also integrated the leading CRM software with our ERP system to create seamless workflows, allowing us to better track customer interactions and elevate service levels. Across every function, our goal is to master training and workflow optimization.

Of course, our commitment goes beyond systems—it’s about people, too. In 2025, we’re piloting a career advancement process that will help team members map their growth opportunities. As a family-owned business, it’s especially important to empower our people and build pathways to success.

And let’s not forget culture. From chili cook-offs to Friendsgiving celebrations, our Spirit Committee will continue fostering collaboration and camaraderie across all levels of the company (P.S. Our Halloween costume game is still unmatched).

Objective 2: Grow sales

In 2025, our sales strategy is all about growth and engagement. By restructuring into regional pods of inside and outside reps, we’re creating more opportunities to connect with customers and design innovative solutions. We’re encouraging our team to take smart risks, learn from mistakes, and push boundaries—all with the goal of increasing quoting opportunities and growing our presence in the heavy-duty manufacturing space.

Objective 3: Improve caster lead times

Shortening lead times has been a top priority, and we’ve made big strides—but it’s a continuous journey, not a destination. In 2025, we’re bringing heat-treating of raceways in-house. This vertical integration enhancement will improve product quality and reduce lead times even further, delivering faster results for our customers.

Objective 4: Lead in innovative material handling solutions

Innovation is in Hamilton’s DNA, and we’re doubling down in 2025. From introducing a paperless production system to launching a customer-friendly in-house CAD modeling tool, we’re focused on empowering customers and streamlining operations. The CAD tool will allow customers to easily customize and configure their perfect product, complete with features like swivel, locks, brakes and toe guards. They’ll be able to download the exact specs they need, making the process faster and more efficient than ever.

Looking ahead

The future looks bright at Hamilton. With momentum on our side, a talented team, and streamlined systems, we’re ready to deliver even more value in 2025. We’re entering the new year poised for continued industry leadership and innovation.
