When Doritos go gingerbread, does anybody win?

Tuesday, Nov 25, 2025

In the wild world of holiday snacks, there are festive flops—and then there’s Gingerbread Doritos.

That’s right. Doritos went full elf-mode this season, rolling out a UK-exclusive flavor that nobody saw coming (and some wish they hadn’t). Described by one brave snacker as “sweet, spicy… and confusing,” these candy-corn-colored triangles of holiday chaos are putting tastebuds in a full nelson.

Not to be outdone on this side of the pond in the experimental flavor wars, Oreo chimed in with its own Thanksgiving lineup: turkey-flavored cookies. Yes, turkey. Also in the collection: mashed potato and cranberry sauce crème. It’s the full Thanksgiving dinner—just, you know, in cookie form. A bold move? Absolutely. A delicious one? Jury’s still out, but we’re guessing grandma’s stuffing is sleeping just fine tonight.

At Hamilton, we admire the guts it takes to try something weird. Pushing boundaries is how progress happens. We’re not afraid to test, tinker and get a little messy, because that’s often where the real breakthroughs start. And honestly, giving teams the space to experiment—even when it doesn’t pan out perfectly—is how you end up with the big wins that actually move an industry forward.

Just don’t expect cinnamon-dusted casters on our shelves anytime soon.
