MagmaMax™ Series Extra Heavy Duty Casters

Capacity Range: 400 – 2400 lbs. Temperature Range: -22 – 750° F

For high heat industrial applications up to 2400 lbs., select these tough extra heavy duty casters. All casters in this series feature durable kingpinless construction, precision cnc-machined and hardened raceways, hefty plates and rings made from forged steel, and high heat grease rated to 750° F.

Besides 2" wide wheels, this extra heavy duty series features 3" wide wheels to boost the caster's load capacity. Dual wheel models are also available.

Quality Features & Specs

Swivel Construction
HSK - Forged steel top plate and fork base; 1/4" x 2" precision laser cut steel legs welded inside and outside to forged steel horn base.
FMK - Kingpinless - 3/8" thick drop forged steel mounting plate; 5/16" x 2 1/2" plate steel legs robotically welded inside and outside to forged steel horn base.
Main Load Bearing

HSK - 3 15/16" diameter hardened and CNC-machined raceway with 3/8" balls.
FMK - 3 1/4" diameter CNC-machined and hardened raceway with 1/2" hardened and polished steel balls.

Axle
HSK - 1/2" diameter bolt with lock nut.
FMK - 3/4" diameter bolt with lock nut.
Lubrication
Special high heat lubricant rated to 750° F (In swivel assembly) and in wheels.

Brakes
Keep safety manager happy with all-steel cam-actuated side foot brake (-FB), or heavy duty face contact brake (-ZB) for more positive locking. Select desired caster from selection table to see brake details.
Swivel Lock
4 Position (-4SL) - convert swivel to rigid for straight line steering, robotically welded housing & CNC-milled slots assure long lasting, trouble-free performance.
